(1) Author of a "Business Simply Put Summary" or "Special Report" (Click here to view summary product page) Process: Topic submissions are approved in advance to ensure the subject matter meets the Business Simply Put criteria. Once your topic has been approved you will receive additional documentation which defines the writing guidelines. This is to ensure that all submissions follow the "Simply Put" format.
Though we do not impose a page limit, summaries are typically 5-10 pages in length and special reports are 10 -50 pages in length. Ideas must be expressed in simple, direct language with complete definitions for all industry jargon.
Business Simply Put provides content providers with full marketing advantages including a database of those who have purchased their product and a 10% revenue sharing plan providing commission income once publication sales exceeds general, marketing and infrastructure cost.
Cost: Draft submissions (once topics are approved) must include a non-refundable $35 processing fee and $2-10 per page editing fee. If your draft requires modifications, you will receive a complete description of the requested changes, which must be resubmitted within 60 days to avoid an additional processing fee.
(2) Contributing Writer for the "Ask an Expert" section
Process: We accept commentary relating to current business topics and issues. We recognize the author and provide links to their website.
Applicants must first be approved to become a commentator for the "Ask an Expert" section. Applicants are chosen based on their background expertise and understanding of the subject matter. There is no fee for the approval process; however, Business Simply Put retains the right to review applicants at it's sole discretion.
Once an applicant is approved (referred herein as "Expert") their contact information is added to the Business Simply Put Expert database under their respective category. When a question requiring their expertise is received, they are contacted via email. It is the full discretion of the Expert to decide whether to respond to the question and they can request to be removed from the database at any time.
Cost: If the Expert chooses to respond they will be charged a one-time editing and processing fee of $35, which includes the posting of your answer for a minimum of one month along with your contact information including: name, company, address, email and website. Business Simply Put does not take any commissions from the opportunities generated from the exposure received.
Business Simply Put also offers a VIP Commentator Membership which ensures Category Ownership (first right of refusal for questions under your chosen topic or discipline) and a posting under the "Meet the Experts" page including a full company profile and bio, logo for the length of the agreement. The cost for VIP membership is $95 per month and the processing fee is reduced to $10 per posting. Discounts apply to multi-month purchases.
(3) Contributing Writer for the "The News Explained" section

Business Simply Put does not take any commissions from the opportunities generated from the exposure received.
